As the picture from 1979 to the right will show, we all had motorcycles growing up. This is my brother, dad and me - Left to Right - So when my dad was without a working bike for a while, we went to work. This was a Christmas Present for Randy's Dad. It was actually dad's bike that had been wrecked repaired and wrecked again. We had come up with another parts bike. It was a slightly different model or year as I remember, but with a minor adjustment, either frame would work. The bike had been stored away for quite some time, so it needed a lot of the usual stuff: cleaning, painting, carb work and rubber. It was a good rider when we finished and it would scream down the highway. I remember us having to rush a little so it would be ready for the Christmas.
